Interra Privacy Policy
What Interra collects
- Your follows — stored on your device only. The countries and topics you follow are saved locally on your device. Interra does not require an account, and we do not collect your email address or sync your follows to our servers.
- Basic usage analytics (website only). The website uses Google Analytics to understand aggregate usage (pages, sessions, country-level geography). Analytics respects your browser's Global Privacy Control / Do Not Track signals. The mobile apps contain no analytics.
What Interra does not do
- No ads and no ad tracking.
- No sale or sharing of personal data with third parties for their own use.
- No precise location collection.
Services Interra relies on
News headlines, images, and data are fetched from their public sources: news publishers' public feeds, the USGS earthquake feed, GDACS disaster alerts, and public flag imagery. Content is delivered through Amazon Web Services. Each provider processes requests under its own privacy policy.
Deleting your data
Your follows live only on your device, so you can remove them anytime by un-following countries or topics, or by deleting the app / clearing your browser's site data. Interra keeps no personal data on its servers to delete.
Children
Interra is a news app intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13.
